Songtext zu
(Thank god, it's time for) Rock'n'Roll

(Words and Music by Ekkehard Penk)

Waitin' for the sun goin' down, hours are slowly gone.
The telefone shatters all your nerves,
You're busy by yourself.
Workin' bees are all around.

The clock strikes- that's the end. Just a prayer to heaven sent,
just leavin' all this behind
what doesn't mean a thing.
Thank god now it's time for Rock'n'Roll.

Chorus:
Feelin' free,
just feelin' free,
must'nt pay the fee,
It's allright now.
Thank god it's time for Rock'n'Roll.

Play with children, kiss your wife, meet your friends, you'll feel alright.
Or just playin' in a rockin' Band
yes, that's you on the road.
Thank god it's time for Rock'n'Roll.

Chorus:
Feelin' free,
just feelin' free,
must'nt pay the fee,
It's allright now.
Thank god it's time for Rock'n'Roll.

Don't think 'bout tomorrow, don't 'bout your sorrows,
You're livin' on the sunny side.
doesn't matter what will come.
Thank god now it's time for Rock'n'Roll.

Chorus:
Feelin' free,
just feelin' free,
must'nt pay the fee,
It's allright now.
Thank god it's time for After Work.
Feelin' free,
just feelin' free,
must'nt pay the fee,
It's allright now.
Thank god it's time for Rock'n'Roll.

Thank god now it's time for Rock'n'Roll.
Thank god now it's time for Rock'n'Roll.
